So our next challenge was Baldock Crusaders. We had 8 strong players - just missing Lynne.

Some one said at the end that it wasn’t a pretty game - it wasn’t - but that doesn’t get recorded on the league table ??

We had a slow first two quarters - keeping ahead by 5 or 6 goals. But then we ramped it up!! Final score winning by 19.

Everyone gave their all, listened at quarter time and supported each other as always. They had a couple of very contacty players and liked us so much they felt the need to hold on to us at times! Best line from court was Yvonne with a ‘finally!’ as her player was pulled for holding ?. I have to admit to trying to wind their coach up with my cheers ??
