So we finally have a morning game and have our full squad out in force!! 9 amazing players keen to continue our winning streak.

So the brief at the beginning is to get a strong lead as I want to try a few different combinations if possible - and you didn’t disappoint ending the first quarter up 22- 8. So we had a little move around in the second quarter which did unsettle us slightly - but if you don’t try you never know ?. Back to a more regular line up in the third which brought us back to 50-34 (50 being just what I asked for ?).

Final quarter and the target was 67. We were on 66 with 50 seconds to go. Didn’t think we would do it but then we got a turnover - very tense!! Unfortunately then turned it back so denied us the extra goal - but we will take a 66 - 47 win!!

Everyone played their socks off today but my player of the match goes to Nat. She got some amazing tips and interceptions, backed up where needed and just generally made it difficult for the attack.

The games are still going as I type but I think that this win has secured us the league title with two games in hand ?
